Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Santa Ana with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

I once ordered 2 quesadilla which was 7 dollars on the menu then the guy charged me 11 dollars each. I tried asking why I was being charged more and the guy tried to say some weird pricing about it. I was upset and disappointed as I had just moved into the area. Avoid this place, theyre scummy and try to scam you out of extra money.

The selection of dry goods and pantry staples is extensive. From an array of spices and dried chiles to a variety of beans and rice, you can find everything you need for a well-stocked kitchen. They also have a great selection of Mexican candies and snacks, which are always a treat.
